ABB Virtual Training Series July 2020
Virtual training is a fantastic way to learn more while sitting in the comfort of your own office or home. Our friends at ABB have designed a Drives Webinar Series for July to help you learn more about variable frequency drives and how they are used in commercial HVAC systems. These drive experts have scheduled three sessions per month on Wednesdays.
Here’s what’s happening in July:
- July 8, 1pm EDT: Adaptive Programming by Jesse Stark, ABB HVAC Channel Manager. Adaptive Programming allows designers and control contractors to do more with their drive than what comes out of the box. Using a fully featured function block editor, you can program the drive to respond in a specific way when a digital input is triggered, or a monitoring parameter exceeds a certain value. Ditch your simple controllers and use the drive to control your system.
- July 15, 1pm EDT: Customizing the ACH580 by Jonathan Marten, ABB HVAC Application Engineer. The high-resolution screens found on the latest drives from ABB allows for more text to be displayed and easily read by the user. ABB has expanded the ability to customize faults, warning, and contact info so that maintenance personnel are spending time fixing the issue instead of trying to find out what’s wrong in the first place. This How-To presentation will walk a user through customizing the ACH580. This session is perfect for facilities managers and contractors or even design engineers who want to know more about the functionality of the ACH580.
- July 22, 1pm EDT: Bluetooth Control Panel by Al Jones, ABB Drives Training Instructor. Learn how to easily connect to an ACH580 drive with a Bluetooth control panel and see all of the functionality at your fingertips! The Bluetooth Control Panel can easily be installed on any ACH580 drive and gives you wireless connectivity to monitor, program, and backup your drive.
