COVID-19 Emergency Response Air Distribution Products by Price Industries
Much to our collective dismay, we are still in the midst of a global pandemic with the United States currently at the forefront of increasing infection rates. While the vast majority of us are ready to move on and get back to what normal looked like six months ago, many of us continue to deal with ensuring that critical care environments are properly equipped to deal with a variety of COVID-19 related needs.
Our manufacturing partner, Price Industries, is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of air distribution products in North America. Currently, Price can build and ship 95% of its products on two, five, and 10-day quick delivery programs. Additionally, Price has a proven record of creating safe, secure, flexible, reliable, and energy efficient facilities.
Price offers critical environment products that are specifically designed for use in critical, clean spaces like hospitals, operating rooms, compounding pharmacies, and cleanrooms. Price has been involved in 2020 in a variety of COVID-19 related projects. These projects have included converting existing patient rooms in hospitals or even hotel rooms to negative pressure isolation rooms with portable exhaust Fan Filter Units.
Other products available for COVID-19 response for critical environments include:
- Retrofit Isolation Rooms: Price can help convert existing patient rooms or hotel rooms to airborn infectious isolation rooms by providing fan filter units and room pressure monitors. Click here to see retrofit isolation room featured projects from Price Industries.
- Critical Space Controller by ANTEC Controls: The PaceÔ critical space controller is a flexible controller for room containment through pressurization.
- Room pressure sensor: Measure room pressure accurately with minimal drift over time using the Room Pressure Sensor from Antec Controls.
- Noise control: Converting spaces that are not normally designated for isolation rooms can bring unexpected noise issues. Price offers silencers and acoustic panels to minimize noise.
Rep teams everywhere are prepared to help HVAC design engineers, facilities teams, and contractors build necessary (and sometimes temporary) infrastructure to help healthcare workers treat patients during this pandemic. It’s a great thing to see our manufacturing partners step up to get equipment shipped quickly. We’re so proud of the efforts they’re making…and we know it makes a difference in patient care.
